Ocular Toxicity
An ophthalmology central lab was established in past years and equipped with all necessary advanced instruments and equipments at JOINN. This lab performs safety and efficacy assessments on compounds or implantable devices intended for ocular treatment. The ocular effects of compounds administered via other routes, such as oral or injection, can also be investigated. These studies can be conducted under GLP conditions either as stand-alone studies or as part of general and special toxicology programs. Non-GLP pilot or proof-of-concept studies are also available for your early research.
JOINN's Ophthalmology Team offers dosing techniques that cover all parts of the eyeballs including the anterior segment and optic nerve.
